At 240g it is roughly double a standard bar, so the customer sees the value immediately. The cord keeps it out of a soap dish, which means it lasts visibly longer and does not go soft — the single most common complaint about traditional soap. It hangs by a kitchen sink or in a shower, so it sells to households that would not otherwise buy a bar.
