Collection: Donkey Milk Soaps
Donkey milk soap, 100g — eleven bars made with 5% donkey milk from a local organic farm in Provence. Supplied to UK trade by Natural Wholesale.
What donkey milk brings to a soap
Donkey milk has been used in skincare since antiquity and is still valued for the same reasons: it is naturally rich in vitamins A, C and E, and its pH sits close to that of human skin, so it cleanses without stripping. In practice it produces a mild, creamy bar that suits dry and sensitive skin, which is why this range sells to customers who find ordinary soap too harsh.
How these are made
Triple-milled and handmade in Marseille, 5% donkey milk from a local organic farm, scented with Grasse perfume. They ship unwrapped — no carton, no film — which suits refill and zero-waste retailers and removes packaging cost from the line. Cruelty-free and fully biodegradable.
The range
The two best sellers are Huile d'Argan and Lavande. Nature is the unperfumed original for customers who want milk and nothing else. Then Rose, Citron, Vanille, Monoi, Fleur de Cerisier, Fleur de Lotus, Framboise and the exfoliating Verveine Broyée.
Ordering
Sold in cases of 6 and cases of 28. The case of 6 lets you carry several scents without committing.
