What “100% natural” means on this range

Three things, all verifiable from the INCI list on each product page: the oils are vegetable and the base is olive rather than palm; the scented bars take their scent from essential oils, not from parfum; and there are no dyes or synthetic preservatives. Palm oil free is true of every bar here — it is not true of the wider catalogue, which is why this is the range to put in front of a customer who opens with an ingredients question.

Essential-oil scented

Lavender, Citron (Lemon), Orange, Menthe (Peppermint), Tea Tree and Bois de Cèdre (Cedar Wood).

Unscented and milk-enriched

Lait de Chèvre (Goat Milk) and Lait d'Ânesse (Donkey's Milk) carry no added scent at all, which makes them the two bars to recommend for sensitive or reactive skin, and for anyone who reacts to fragrance rather than to soap.

Stocking notes

Lavender and Tea Tree are the safest opening order — one is the scent everyone recognises, the other is the one customers ask for by name. Tea Tree, Menthe and Bois de Cèdre also give you a properly unisex facing, which the sweeter parts of the catalogue do not. Supplied unwrapped, by the case.
