It sells on the shape

The cicada is to Provence what the thistle is to Scotland — it appears on pottery, fabric and tiles across the south of France, and visitors bring it home. That makes this soap a souvenir as much as a wash product, which puts it in gift shops, garden centres and tourist retail rather than only in bathroom aisles. It comes on a cord, so it hangs on a display rail and merchandises itself.
