FAQ's
Are soaps shipped in plastic free packaging?
We are committed to using sustainable and recyclable packaging in our fulfilment :) Most of the soaps do not come with any plastic packaging, we use for fulfilment mainly paper and other fully recyclable materials to fill parcels and to add extra protections to soaps. Inside the cases, the soaps are not wrapped in anything, they are packed naked.
However, there are some soap which come in plastic protection, those are: lemon shaped soap 125g, authentic cubes 300g and 600g, the packaging for those soaps is set in manufacturing process, there are some trials for more sustainable option in the future, those mentioned soap types are the most fragile from all and for now it is the best protection not only during the transit but also in the manufacturing process; there are specific processes when they are made.
Very often we reuse packaging which our sister company receives from customers and deliveries. If we were to include the plastic packaging during our fulfillment process, we would ensure to reuse that which we have already received, as a company who is an official distributor and connection with Savons.com, we do not purchase plastic packaging, and would encourage others to also reuse it where they are able.
